Pair Of Dice

A luckless night,
after a luckless day.
The frying fish commits filet.
The waitress was a plate of babe.
He eyed the price.
A pair of dice.
Before the morning
light she glides
back and forth
and through the night.
She thinks of him
between the bites.
A pair of dice.
I’m wild as the streets,
high as the sky,
free for forever,
and yours if you'd like.
See me, stop me, tell me goodnight.
But, you don’t
even know me,
¿do you?
Back up on the boulevard.
There's a very few of us,
there's a very lot of them.
They're like hawks and sparrows,
spiders and flies,
and a pair of dice...
like you and I.
